Just a Little...

I thought I'd end this month with a 'BANG' so if you're not ready for picture overload, I'd suggest you X out of here ASAP! Like quick! I went a lit..tle... crazy, I'd say! How could I possibly pick and choose my favorites of these little darlings. If only they weren't so darn cute it'd make things a little easier. Just a little.

And now presenting... {insert drum roll}
.
"Just a Little!!!" {insert applause here}

Just a little boy who is growing up absolutely way... too fast

Just a little curious 2 year old waiting for me to turn my back

Just a little LUG'n (Love + Hug = LUG)

Just a little giggle from two brothers who's love for each other defies explanation

Just a little bit of my three favorite boys

Just a little ride up the driveway, while the camera man mama holds her breath

Just a little bit of Lucy love

Just a little red wagon filled with 3 crazy kids

Just a little card making (aka: art class for the day)

Just a little talk with God

Just a little bit of our nature scavenger hunt finds. On Sunday evening with Fletch in the back-pack carrier (on Josh's back), we split up into teams and went on a scavenger hunt. Josh's competitive side kicked into full gear and he did everything he could to make sure his team won. Which meant going to the neighbors to get the items he couldn't find on his own. Sneaky I tell you, sneaky! Colton and I will have to work on a better strategy for next time.
.
Just a little pillowcase dress which cost me a whopping 50 cents to make

Just a little reducing, reusing and recycling. This shirt was her Valentines Day L O V E shirt that I made her and we decided we were tired of it, and the skirt was one that had become too short for her but still fit around the waist. So now she has an absolutely adorable new outfit made from things we had on hand. Gotta love it!

Just a little bit of chestnuts toesies roasting on an open fire

Just a little view of the boys attempted backyard camp out last weekend. (attempted but not successful)
.
Just a little love bug bundled up on a cold day

Just a little bit of my beautiful girl

Just a little marker on her sweet Kindergartner hands

Just a little bit of gained Independence. WAHOO!!
.
Just a little bit of love for Mama
.
Just a little bit of time and I can transform (remember that ugly old $3.50 directors chair I bought? The other two are waiting patiently for their time with me) (and check out the rocker)
.
Just a little bit of red paint goes a long way. This toddler sized rocker was in the back of my car waiting to be donated {it also happened to be dingy and dull do to much use by C & G} until I got the mail and saw this red rocker for $99.
.
It reminded me of that can of red spray paint I have sitting in the garage. So... we now have a "new" red rocker just waiting to be placed by the Christmas tree. (not as a gift, just thought it'd look cute sitting by the tree holding a gift all wrapped up yummy)

Just a little sweetness from these beautiful cousins
.
Just a little bit of cousinly love

Just a little bit of mommy practice

Just a little bit of artists in the making

Okay, now that I am absolutely sick of typing "just a little", I'm ending it here. I know, you thought it'd never end.

Here's hoping you have just a lot of fun this Thanksgiving. Remember all that you have to be thankful for. Many blessings to you an yours! Jenna

Give Thanks

GIVE THANKS WITH A GRATEFUL HEART GIVE THANKS TO THE HOLY ONE GIVE THANKS BECAUSE HE'S GIVEN JESUS CHRIST, HIS SON

AND NOW LET THE WEAK SAY I AM STRONG LET THE POOR SAY I AM RICH BECAUSE OF WHAT THE LORD HAS DONE FOR US...

GIVE THANKS

In whatever you are doing this Thanksgiving, I ask you to join me in pausing for a moment to give thanks. We have been given far more abundantly than what we deserve and have certainly been given far more than what many countries all over the world have been given. So please, especially at a time when the fate of our country seems so uncertain, it is so important to pause and give thanks.

Wishing you a very blessed and happy Thanksgiving!

Lots of Love,
Jenna

Orlando Times

Just realized I never finished my post about our vacation.

So after being contacted about receiving a "free" Orlando vacation "just by listening to a 2 hour talk about our time shares" Josh and I made a decision we have never made before. We went out on a whim and said "Hey, sure, we'll go! Why not?" After we agreed to it, we had second thoughts and said to each other "did we just absolutely loose our minds?"
.
So when we arrived at the brand new 4 bedroom, 4 bath beautiful condo that we'd be staying in for 4 days, which just happened to be close to Disney we thought, okay, maybe this will be worth it. The place was gorgeous! Bamboo wood floors (felt just like home ; ), large plasma TVs in all 4 bedrooms, a whirl pool tub, and to the kids surprise, it was a two story! That is what they were most excited about. I was amazed that for the most part (other than Fletcher finding his way back to me in the middle of the night), they all slept in their "own" rooms. It was oh so nice!

On Friday, we spent most of the day at Epcot. It was a great day! Saturday morning was the day we dreaded. The big talk! After sleeping in and making pancakes in our fancy kitchen, we headed over to the conference room. Much to our surprise, we had nothing to worry about. After loading us up with sugary snacks and drinks, a man told us just how beneficial it would be for our family to buy into their timeshare. Although it did sound quite appealing, we told him that with the economy the way it was, we would never buy into anything like that right now. He said he understood although as you can imagine, his energetic chipper personality, became a lot less so, and he signed us off as having completed our meeting. After being there for what turned out to be more like an hour, we were off with our gift package and we headed to the pool.

The pool was AMAZING! We spent most of the day there. It had a large zero entry kiddie area, a long lazy river and a long twisty water slide which the kids loved! And my favorite part, it was nicely heated and felt great! The kids went over, and over, and over again down the slide, and get this, Fletch did too! At first I thought, "oh no, he could never go down that, but before I knew it all he could say was "again, again!"

This was our back yard, which by the way, other than some animals, we never saw a soul in sight out there. They must have seen that we had three crazy kids and thought it best to put us way... in the back where we wouldn't scare off potential buyers. That was perfectly fine with us.
.
The boys were in HEAVEN!

they had a HUGE natural sand box to play in and the weather could not have been better.

Fletcher is rarely seen without a monster truck in hand. Every morning the first thing out of his mouth is "I watch monser truck". The Monster Jam truck show is on TV from 7:00-8:00 am. We're going to ask Santa to bring him his own video so he can start sleeping in a bit and watch "monser trucks" at a more convenient time during the day ; )

{Josh and his littlest dude}
.
Colton would wake up in the morning and watch for animals. The property behind the condos went on as far as we could see. One morning while the rest of us were all still deep in our slumbers, he sat silently watching through the window and is so sure that he saw a wolf. We saw lots of large paw prints in the sand and like I said, there wasn't a soul in sight and it just happened to be a "no animals allowed" condo, so although it may not have been a wolf, I bet there's a good chance it might have been a coyote.

So back to Epcot.

Since we homeschool and all ; ) you know I tried my best to make this as much of an educational experience as possible. I think we did pretty good.

They loved the land of the Vikings.

Isn't this a sweet picture of the boys relaxing in "China"?

I think you need a closer look to see what's truly going on here...

Fletcher didn't agree with the idea that we were sharing the strawberry smoothie.

While the boys were outside fighting over the smoothie, Gracie and I were doll shopping dreaming.

We had to keep the peace in China town. Can you guess who won the battle??? No surprise, huh?

Then we moved on to have a little fun in "Mexico". This is where Gracie's favorite ride of the day was. Remember the three Caballeros boat ride? Yea, it's still there and she loved it! She keeps asking when we can go back.

.
This is how we ride. I know, we're pretty classy aren't we? Notice the grip Josh has on Fletcher's shirt. Guess who made him do that ; )

.
Saturday night we enjoyed an Arabian Night dinner. Or we enjoyed the show anyway. At least the kids thought the frozen chicken strips were the best ever! One of our gifts for sitting through "the talk", was a free adult ticket to Arabian Nights. At $57 for adults, that helped a tad bit. We also received two tickets to City Place which we never used.

The kids genuinely enjoyed it. Especially Fletcher. He couldn't contain himself from dancing all throughout the show and was amazed by the horses. "WOW!" was said quite often. The end was my absolute favorite when they released a bunch of wild horses out into the arena. Beautiful!!!
.
Even though next time we go to Orlando, we'll be back to reality and will cram ourselves into a hotel room, we sure enjoyed livin' large while we had it!
