Does Santa Pay Taxes?

While we were doing school a few days ago and studying Luke 5: 27-32, our discussion on Matthew the tax collector prompted us to do a little learning about taxes. After our discussion, Colton comes back with, "so... there were no taxes on Spike (his stuffed Bulldog Webkin) since he was from Santa... right?" So that lead us to the question, "does Santa pay taxes?"
