Three in a Row

Wow, I was one lucky girl this past weekend! I got to go out and have fun Thursday, Friday, and Saturday night. That is certainly something that I haven't done in a long... time, if ever. Thursday night our neighborhood had our women's monthly bunco party, and guess who was the lucky winner of $155? That's right, you guessed it! I told you I was lucky! For those of you who are wondering, bunco is a game you play with dice and is completely based on luck. There is no skill needed to play. My kind of game! Then Friday night Josh, Katie, Austin and I went to downtown Stuart for dinner and some drinks. It truly was so nice and refreshing just to be out and about without the kids! You know I love my kids dearly, but it is so nice to have a break every now and then! Saturday Josh, Katie, Austin and I went to the Young Friends of Florida Oceanographic Party where we met up with Brian and Kelly and ran into many people we knew. It again felt so wonderful to get dressed up, go out with adults only, and have a good time.

We are so grateful for my aunt Joyce and Josh's parents who watched the kids so we could go out and have this time together. We truly haven't done this in a very long time so it was so rejuvenating for us. Sunday, after church, we had a fun family day with the kids. We went to the sandbar and were excited that Brian, Kelly, Ava and Kaya came along with us and we all relaxed after a busy weekend. We stayed in the water almost the whole time, including Fletch who's still as fearless as it gets. Thank goodness for water wings! He was jumping off the back of Al's boat and would pop back up to the surface completely unfazed by it. That crazy boy of mine! He's going for a swim lesson with his Aunt Kelly on Thursday. I'm so curious to see how he does!

I was so bummed I forgot my camera at home on Sunday. We need to purchase a new small, keep in the diaper bag type of camera. For now it's a matter of me remembering to grab my large camera bag. Thankfully Kelly had her camera with her and took these pictures below that she shared with me. Thanks Kelly : )
