God has a lot to say about love and because of this, we celebrate Valentine's Day not only in honor of our love for each other, but our love for God and His great love for us.

Love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength. ~ Deuteronomy 6:5

But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us. ~ Romans 5:88

For the LORD loves the just and will not forsake his faithful ones. ~ Psalm 37:28
