We had such a busy, but very fun Easter. After waiting until the very last minute to do everything Easter related (that's the typical me) we managed to cram it all in, even if it meant dying Easter Eggs at 9pm on the night before Easter. But in the end, we did them and Mr. Easter Bunny made a special trip to our house that evening. Josh and I heard a door shut at 6am and it woke us both up from a dead sleep. By the way, for some good news, the last four nights or so, Fletch hasn't been waking up until morning time. I'm loving it!!! So Josh gets up to see Gracie's door was shut and the kids Easter baskets were missing. You know what that means. We managed to doze back to sleep for awhile and were finally awakened around 7am, when the sugar was kicking in big time and they couldn't control their laughter and squeals of delight anymore. To make Easter morning even better. The kids noticed some Easter baskets on the front door step that Grandma and Papa had dropped off on their way to the sunrise service. So they each wound up getting to go through another Easter basket filled with goodies and Josh and I were so lucky to get one from mom and dad too. As we were out getting the baskets the kids noticed the eggs hidden in the yard, so as soon as the baskets were emptied and we had about 100 different items scattered on the floor, we left it all to go out and hunt eggs. Then it was bath time, church at 9:30, Easter brunch and egg hunting at Pam and Al's at 11:30, then Easter dinner with Josh's family at 4:00. Busy, busy, busy but oh so fun!

Our beautiful creations! I can't even tell you just how many eggs Fletch cracked. He would drop them, pick them up, poke his fingers in them, and squeeze them till the egg was gooshing out of the shell. Nice!

Gracie loves... her new Easter bunny!

Notice the candy in both of the girls mouths ; )
